Self-Assessment Deadlines
Personal tax returns for 2008/09 were due by 31 January 2010, and the balance of your tax for 2008/09 was due on that date.  You may also have been required to make a payment on account for 2009/10 at the same time.

The second payment on account for 2009/10 is due on 31 July 2010.  The final payment, and the return, are due on 31 January 2011.

We will be pleased to look at your tax position and advise you whether you should submit a return, and whether any payments or repayments are due

Self-Assessment Deadlines
If you are required to make payments on account of your 2009/10 tax liability, the second of these is due on 31 July 2010.
Company accounts filing 
The time allowed for filing accounts at Companies House has been reduced by one month, and the late filing penalties have increased.
Furnished holiday letting
The proposal to withdraw the special treatment of furnished holiday letting has been dropped from the Finance Bill - for now.
