Furnished holiday
letting
The proposal to withdraw the special treatment of furnished
holiday letting has been dropped from the Finance Bill.
This measure is likely to be reintroduced later.

Self-Assessment Deadlines
Self-assessment
tax returns for 2010/11 are due by 31 January 2012.
The balancing payment for 2010/11 and the first payment on
account for 2011/12 are due on the same date.
